Description:November 13th, 2493. Location: Trench system Valles Marineris, Mars - 72 hours ago the orbital satellite lost any contact to the colony MRS1. Since then, everlasting dust storms prevent satellite based bio-scan of the region. First details indicate an enormous disaster. The International Community of States reacts surprisingly rapidly and arranges a crisis committee, consisting of politicians, military forces and delegates from leading trade and industrie concerns. 30 minutes after the incident first measures were arranged: "SS Callisto", supply spaceship, being on the way to Jupiter hastily leaves its planned route. 48 hours later it reaches the orbit of Mars. Although depth scanners of the ship penetrate and reach upper layers of the underground Mars station, weak energy- and bio-signals provide rather an unclarified picture. In spite of some security considerations of the military, crisis committee decides to involve civil escort security of the supply ship in the mission. Gunship Apocalypse, armed only with minimal weapons breaks into the atmosphere and takes course towards underground tunnels of the colony. It's mission: evacuation of eventual survivors and investigation of the near circumstances.

Rome: Total War - Barbarian Invasion is the expansion to the best-selling Rome: Total War. The original game covered the rise of the Roman Empire and the struggle to be the Emperor of the Roman World. In the tradition of earlier Total War expansions, Barbarian Invasion (BI) introduces a new campaign in a time when an almost-unstoppable threat has arisen.
The expansion moves the action on 350 years to a time when the Roman Empire is in deep trouble, beset by enemies inside and out, and possibly even dying. The year is 363 AD, and the Roman Empire has split into two parts ruled from the cities of Rome (for the Western Empire) and Constantinople (for the Eastern Empire). If this weren't bad enough, barbarian tribes have been massing on the Imperial frontiers in Europe for many years. In the East the Empire faces a renewed threat from the Persian Empire, under new vigorous rulers, the Sassanids.
This is an exciting and turbulent period of Roman history: the Fall of Rome itself and the collapse of the Western Roman Empire, the slaughter of Emperor Valens and a complete Roman army at Adrianople in 378, the arrival in Europe of the terrifying Huns, the political in-fighting that saw Rome's best generals hounded as traitors, and the final humiliation of the last Emperor of the West being forced to retire in 476 AD as a barbarian took his throne. Romulus Augustulus simply wasn't enough of a threat to be worth killing.
BI starts just after the last Emperor of a unified Rome has died. His successors in Rome and Constantinople are now uneasy allies and rivals for power. The 'barbarians' are massing along the borders, and in some cases are living inside what used to be Roman territory. There are many, many challenges for a Roman to face - and some may be almost unbeatable!
Rome: Total War - Alexander
Rome: Total War - Alexander will allow users to re-create the leader's conquests with a new campaign map and six new historical battles that attempt to re-create the conditions and tactics used in his battles with Greek, Persian, and Indian forces. The campaign adds more than 60 new units and four new factions to the game, two of which will be the Macedonians and Persians.
Over the course of the historical battles, a series of movies featuring the voice work of Brian Blessed (Prince Vultan from Flash Gordon, and the wrestling trainer from Alexander) will tell the story of Alexander and set the stage for each battle.

Description:The battle takes place on Saraksh planet, where four armies (Khonties, the Land of Fa thers, Island Empire and Southern barbarians) go toe-to-toe on field of action. Each race will possess and develop easily distinguishable technologies. Therefore, heavily armored, transport, and aviation units, each of absolutely different construction will be present on the battlefield. This war will take place among 3D vivid extraterrestrial landscapes, with day and night change and dynamic weather conditions that will affect the gameplay. A haze of exhausted gases poises over steel battle machines; the ground gets blasted by tracks of tanks and other heavy vehicles; artillery fire scratches, burns and breaches heavily armored units.
